Dispatch, operators and the yard — one press away

A recovery operator may be across the county, under a vehicle or working in gloves beside live traffic. push.tt keeps the whole operation on the same channel anywhere their data connection reaches.

The whole service area, without a repeater

Dispatch can reach one operator or the entire shift without caring which side of town the truck is on. Coverage follows cellular and Wi-Fi rather than a tower at the yard.

  • One speaker at a time, arbitrated by the server, so a busy dispatch channel stays intelligible
  • Connection quality is visible before an operator keys the mic
  • Channels can follow the work: light duty, heavy recovery, roadside, yard or one contract

Built for the hand that is doing the recovery

The talk target is deliberately large, and rugged Android radios can use their physical push-to-talk paddle. Audio keeps arriving while the screen is off, so the handset can stay clipped to a vest or belt.

  • Transmit, receive, busy and requesting states are readable at arm's length
  • Audio streams as it is spoken rather than arriving later as a voice note
  • Use the handset speaker, an earpiece or paired audio hardware for the job at hand

Job details stay off open radio

Pickup addresses, gate codes, customer names and vehicle details should not be broadcast to anyone with a scanner. Private and organisation channels encrypt them on member devices.

  • our servers carry private and company channels without being able to listen to them
  • Every transmission is replayable, with transcription performed on the sending handset
  • Built-in work email gives each operator an address for job sheets, documents and customer follow-up

When roadside work turns dangerous

Emergency is a persistent session rather than a chime. It overrides Busy, Solo and channel mute, and remains active until somebody with permission clears it.

  • Raise, acknowledge and clear are separate actions, each written to the audit trail
  • The person raising the alert takes the floor even when someone else is speaking
  • Abuse controls and an organisation-level off switch are enabled by default

push.tt is operational coordination over commercial data networks, not a certified public-safety system. Keep statutory and emergency services on the equipment and procedures required for them.

Put one towing shift on it

One dispatcher and a handful of operators is enough to see whether the radios stay on the rack.
